KFM Shortlisted for Two HCSA Awards

London, UK – 21 October 2026

KFM is proud to announce that it has been shortlisted as a finalist in two categories at the 2026 Health Care Supply Association (HCSA) Awards: a national celebration of excellence and innovation in healthcare procurement and supply chain.

Each year, HCSA Annual Awards recognise outstanding contributions from individuals and teams driving improvement, efficiency, and value across the NHS.

KFM’s shortlisting highlights the organisation’s excellence in both operational transformation and procurement leadership:

Cross Functional Collaboration Project Award:
‘Beyond Home Delivery: A Cross-Functional Partnership Transforming NHS Medicines Supply’ showcases the collaboration between KFM, King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and technology partner Keynius to co-design and deliver the UK's first NHS-compliant Pharmacy SMART Locker model.

Future Leader Award - David Thompson, Deputy Head of Procurement:
This nomination recognises David's outstanding contribution to procurement across King's and KFM, and his potential as a future leader within the profession. Alongside delivering significant organisational benefits, David is recognised for his commitment to developing colleagues, supporting professional development and contributing to the wider procurement profession through his long-standing voluntary role as Vice-Chair and Treasurer of the CIPS South London Branch.

Preeya Bailie, Managing Director at KFM, said: “Being shortlisted for two national HCSA Awards for the second year running is a fantastic achievement and a testament to the incredible work and innovation happening across KFM and King’s. It reflects how KFM is driving real change by improving efficiency, sustainability, and patient care through collaboration, creativity, and a shared commitment to excellence.

A huge thank you to everyone who contributed to Beyond Home Delivery, a truly multi-disciplinary project, and congratulations to David on being nominated for the Future Leader Award - your collective commitment to excellence continues to make KFM a leader in healthcare support services.”

Clara Purnell, Director of Procurement, said: “A massive congratulations to David on being nominated for the Future Leader Award. I've seen firsthand the incredible work he's done across corporate, clinical and capital procurement, and his commitment to both personal professional development and that of his colleagues is inspiring.
