KFM welcomes Sir David Behan, Chair of King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust

Last week we were proud to welcome Sir David Behan, Chair of King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, to our KFM teams based at Denmark Hill.

Sir David met with colleagues across KFM, hearing first-hand how our teams are supporting world-class patient care through innovative, cost-effective healthcare support services.

During the visit, we highlighted:

  • The support our teams provide to clinical areas, including the maintenance of medical equipment and the delivery of outpatient pharmacy services.

  • How our end-to-end managed services, from procurement to supply and management of clinical supplies, are freeing up clinical time to focus on patient care.

  • The measurable benefits we’ve delivered, with all cost savings and benefits reinvested back into the NHS to directly benefit patients.

As Chair of the Trust Board, Sir David’s recognition of our work was both encouraging and inspiring. It reinforced the vital role KFM plays as a wholly-owned NHS organisation, committed to operational excellence, sustainability, and delivering high-quality support services that enable safe, effective, and efficient patient care.

A huge thank you to our incredible teams for showcasing the impact of their work so brilliantly and to Sir David for taking the time to meet with us and for his continued support of KFM’s vision and mission.
